On your mark, get set, go register for the Battlegreen Run!In less than a month, more than 600 runners and walkers will fill the historic streets of Lexington, Massachusetts, for one of the most popular road races in New England. We anticipate that the 22nd Annual Genesis Battlegreen Run, which takes place on Sunday, November 5, 2017, will be our best year yet! The Battlegreen Run has become a Lexington tradition, and we are looking forward to spending the day with our community.

Since its inception in 1996, this race has generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of the local charities Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston, the Ovarian Cancer Education Awareness Network (OCEAN) at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Pauline Briggs Scholarship Fund, and the Genesis Community Fund.

This race event is unlike any other racing event from start to finish. Rene Rancourt, voice of the Boston Bruins, sends the runners off with a stirring rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” accompanied by musket fire, courtesy of the Lexington Minutemen.

Another signature component of this event is the post-race ceremony. Runners, walkers, volunteers, friends, and family are encouraged to join us after the race for live music, awards, and a taste of our local food fair. A variety of food options have been generously donated by many local restaurants and food vendors.

Genesis would like to thank all of our sponsors, participants, and volunteers in advance for all of your support. Without you, this event would not be possible!
