About once a year, most business owners go through the angst of setting salary ranges and making wage adjustments.
It’s never easy, and oftentimes it is hard to get it right. This is why I really liked Allen Foster’s article, 6 Tips To Set A Proper Salary For Your Employees. All of the suggestions were good, but the one that resonated for me was the issue of value: “Without an employee in place, decide what value the position has to your company.” Good advice indeed.
